Family night is once & month and grown-ups night is once a month!
Join us to gather, build community and enjoy some grounding time in nature. Bring your picnic dinner and/or something to cook on the fire and make some new friends!
This is a free event, but registration at least 24 hrs in advance is required to keep numbers manageable and priority is given to families who are a part of our other groups. Please also complete a release of liability waiver and email it to leanne@rootednaturegroup.com or bring it to the event.

WHAT
5:00 – Fire starting & set-up (arrive at this time if you’d like to be a part of fire starting)
5:30 – Attendees arrive & gather
6-7 – Eat, cook & converse
7-7:30 Evening hike (optional)

Location Details
The woods are on the West side of Ward Church. Park in their parking lot. Locate the two sets of bleachers at the north end of the wooded area (opposite end from the baseball field). Look for our small yard sign and take the trail/entrance to the woods there. You’ll hike a very short distance and see the fire ring/clearing. Reach out at 248 514 9472 if you need help finding this location.
What To Bring/Wear
– Alcohol is not permitted.
– Please bring your own picnic dinner and/or something to cook/roast on the fire.
– Please dress in weather appropriate layers & proper footwear for hiking.
– Please bring a picnic blanket or camping chair if you would like as seating is limited.
– We may bring something small to share such as roasted corn, s’mores supplies or bread-on-a-stick.
– Natural bug spray, sunscreen & hand warmers will be available for use.
