The woods are on the West side of Ward Church. Park in their parking lot near the basketball nets & soccer fields. We will have a small yard sign posted at the entrance to the trail which is behind the soccer fields. When the trail splits, turn right and you’ll arrive at the fire pit clearing. Alternatively, you may walk the driveway near the retirement community (to the right of the soccer field) and enter the woods at the trail opening behind their garages (no sign will be posted here, but the fire pit is immediately following this entrance to the woods). WHAT

This schedule is very loose and will flow with what works best for the attendees.
5:00 – Fire starting & set-up (arrive at this time if you’d like to be a part of fire starting)
5:30 – Attendees arrive & gather
6-7 – Eat, cook & converse
7-7:30 Evening hike (optional)

BRING/WEAR

– Alcohol is not permitted.
– Please bring your own picnic dinner and/or something to cook/roast on the fire (if you would like).
– Please dress in weather appropriate layers & proper footwear for hiking.
– Please bring a picnic blanket or camping chair if you would like something to sit upon.
– Your host may (or may not) bring something small to share such as corn to roast, s’mores supplies or dough for bread-on-a-stick.
– Natural bug spray, sunscreen & hand warmers will be available for use as needed.
– A first aid kit & camping potty will be on site.
